WINSTON

ABOUT

Fiji, the sire of this colt, is a six-year-old KWPN approved stallion with a fantastic pedigree. His sire is the Oldenburg Champion stallion For Romance, who competed at national Grand Prix level in partnership with Therese Nilshagen and became a sire of outstanding Grand Prix dressage horses. It is no coincidence that he holds a place in the top 100 of the WBFSH sire ranking. Fiji’s dam, Happy-Times ZB, is a half-sister to the international Grand Prix horse Crocket Times. Happy-Times ZB is by the Grand Prix stallion Charmeur, who is represented at the highest level by Heartbeat W.P., Herr Charmeur Coolhorses, Charmer and Hero-K, among others. Charmeur holds the 18th place in the WBFSH ranking of the best dressage horse progenitors in the world.

In Winston’s damline, we find a substantial amount of sport. His dam Elana-Tilda, granddam Tilda and great-granddam Otilda all competed at Z2 level in dressage. Elana-Tilda is a KWPN registered ‘Elite’ ‘Sport’ mare. Her dam is by Krack C, a Grand Prix stallion who proved himself in sport and established himself as a progenitor. Granddam Tilda is also a valuable addition to Winston’s pedigree. Almost all of her offspring competed in sport, including several in the ZZL, Z2 and Z1 classes. She herself holds the predicates ‘Keur’, ‘Sport’, ‘Preferent’ and ‘Prestatie’. Her dam, Otilda, is a ‘Keur’ mare, who has three registered offspring in the KWPN, two of whom competed at Z2 level in dressage. Winston has also been invited to the NVK Ermelo after placing high in the finals at the Tolbert foal inspection.
