WINTER SUN MC

ABOUT

His sire is none other than Red Viper, who won the World Championship for 5-year-old dressage horses in 2024 in partnership with Bart Veeze. Before this World Championship, he had already completed a superb performance test in Warendorf and won the Pavo Cup. In 2025, he became World Champion again, this time under the saddle of Dinja van Liere. This year, the duo Red Viper-van Liere ranked 8th at the World Championship for seven-year-olds.

His dam, Gieta Corieta Texel, scored a remarkable 80 points for walk, rideability, and trainability at the mare test. She also produced the ZZ-Zwaar-level horse Nikieta MC (by Governor) and the Z2-level horse Lavanya MC (by Everdale). His grandmother, Zeorieta Texel, produced the Grand Prix horse Exclusief Texel, the Small Tour horse Neorieta Texel, and the approved stallions Landmark Texel and Paycheck Texel. Her granddam, Corieta, produced the Grand Prix dressage horse Opartout Texel VD L, the Small Tour horses Jeorieta VDL and Zeestar Texel. Corieta is also known as the granddam of the GP horse Dark Knight Texel, four Small Tour horses and a whole series of Z1 and Z2 dressage horses.
