The Jumping Edition of Veulenveiling Prinsjesdag came to a successful close on Tuesday evening. Featuring a collection of 43 showjumping-bred foals, all born in 2026, the auction once again brought together proven sport genes and established dam lines. The strong interest during the auction resulted in several impressive prices, with two absolute highlights reaching €30,000.

Both Candido van de Zeven Bunder Z (Candy de Nantuel GFE x Emerald van ’t Ruytershof) and Usha Jewel Key Z (United Touch S x Toulon) became the evening’s top lots, selling for €30,000 each.

Two €30,000 top lots

With his pedigree, Candido van de Zeven Bunder Z combines the proven sport blood of Candy de Nantuel and Emerald van ’t Ruytershof. The colt was part of the first half of the collection and attracted strong bidding before reaching a final price of €30,000.

Later in the evening, Usha Jewel Key Z became the second €30,000 top lot. The filly by United Touch S x Toulon represents the influential Usha van ’t Roosakker dam line, known for producing horses with scope and international sport ability.

Strong interest in proven sport lines

The two top lots were not the only foals to attract considerable interest. Whiskey VT (Aganix du Seigneur x Kassander van ’t Roosakker) sold for €18,000, while Ultimatum RBL Z (United Touch S x Emerald van ’t Ruytershof) and Urika vd Berghoeve Z (Uricas vd Kattevennen x Goethe) both reached €17,000.

Zelena Blue (Zirocco Blue VDL x Echo van ’t Spieveld) and Cruella vd Berghoeve Z (Chacco Blue x Kannan) each sold for €16,000. The results once again underline the strong interest in foals combining proven sport genes with successful international dam lines.

A collection built on international sport genetics

The 43 foals formed a diverse collection featuring both established sires and the latest generation of promising stallions. Among the names represented were Chacco Lover, Diamant de Semilly, Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, Cornet Obolensky, Aganix du Seigneur, Ermitage Kalone, United Touch S and Uricas vd Kattevennen.

Several renowned dam lines were also represented, including the families of Usha van ’t Roosakker, Qerly Chin, Big Ben and Britt, Liscalgot and Valentina van ’t Heike.

With two foals reaching €30,000 and several other strong results, Veulenveiling Prinsjesdag can look back on a successful Jumping Edition. Once again, the auction brought breeders, sport stables and enthusiasts together around a collection where future potential, proven sport genetics and strong dam lines took centre stage.
