WELLNESS VAN DE WESTEN

ABOUT

McLaren is by the Oldenburg champion stallion Morricone out of a daughter of Sir Donnerhall I. During his KWPN performance test in Ermelo in 2020 he achieved 83,50 with, among other things, 9/10 for rideability and attitude. At the age of 4 he was a finalist in the Pavo Cup. Under the saddle of his regular rider Dinja van Liere, he won the KWPN stallion competition in classes L and M. The stallion has already distinguished himself several times during international Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I competitions.

Wellness van de Westen is a daughter of the Elite EPTM mare Primatrichta van de Westen. Itrichta Van De Westen, the granddam of Wellness, achieved high scores during her Ibop test in Lisse, including 8,5 for canter and 8 for suppleness, rideability and aptitude as a dressage horse. She is a half-sister to the approved KWPN stallion Dorado. Itrichta’s granddam, Lotus, produced, among others, the KWPN approved Galandro (who achieved a series of victories in Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I classes in the USA) and Fernando (team bronze at the European Junior championship in 2020). Charites, the dam of Lotus, has a significant share in the success of the Otrichta lineage, not least as dam of the Olympiad horse Nadine.
